In case you are wondering what to do this weekend and enjoy our fantastic Summer weather here are few suggestions.
Saturday 15th June:
Of course we have our first ever Gateshead Meet Up, taking place at Parkrun, Saltwell Park 9am
Daring Dads at Seven Stories.
A Nature Walk in Denton Dene.
Northern Stage's Family Day.
Digging with Dad
Lots of event with the Festival of the North East and Vamos! taking place.
Sunday 16th June:
Fathers Day Lunch at Baltic.
Dens with Dad at Gibside.
A Family events day at Blagdon Estate Gardens.
Celebrating 15 years of The Angel of the North.

Building a building family event at St Mary's Heritage Centre.

How to be a hero at Seven Stories.
A guided walk in Armstrong Park and Jesmond Vale.

Gibside has a gossipy garden walk planned for those of the green fingered persuasion.
Kirkley Hall will be celebrating all things primate this weekend.
Or you could belt out a few Dolly Parton classics at the Theatre Royal.
The Cumberland Arms in Ouseburn is having an All the Family Day, with crafts, face painting, story teller and a family show for their younger guest. They are also celebrating the lovely weather with a Summer Beer Festival.
