Life Drawing for Animation is primarily aimed at students involved in or hoping to study animation but is open to artists or students who just want a bit more practice or to see life drawing from another angle.

Michael Bass is the regular host with Clare Broome providing the modelling. Sessions run for 2.5hrs and, thanks to subsidies from UU Animation Dept, the cost to the public is a tiny £5!

Paper is provided and simple media but you are always welcome to byo. Clare often brings in different texts or media for students to see/try out and Michael has explanatory handouts for teaching points.

With a huge range of costuming Clare has put on special themed sessions in the past and will be introducing her protégée models from September to give students the opportunity to draw from the male figure too.

2nd Thursday of the month we meet early to allow for a networking event afterwards :)

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
