Bournville BookFest 2017 - Birmingham's best children's book festival - has expanded across 10 days this year.

There are over 100 events taking place across Birmingham, including:

Jonny Duddle - "Pirates Next Door" author and illustrator of the Harry Potter books - will be performing and giving Harry Potter drawing classes.

David Litchfield ("The Bear and the Piano") will be reading from his book and performing on a real piano whilst teaching children bear-related songs.

Award-winning "Last Wild Trilogy" author Piers Torday is coming, as is mountaineer Matt Dickinson and vet Gill Lewis.

There will be a spectacular Dahl day with 'Revolting Rhymes' at the Barber Institute, with singing workshops, live music and craft.

'Spy Dog' author Andy Cope will be bringing Lara herself; there's also Storytelling with Guinea Pigs; and meet BB Taylor's raccoon, the hero of her animal adventure books.

Actress Toni Midlane will be delighting very small children with her drama tots classes; Chloe Inkpen will be reading from 'Zoe and Beans'; and everyone can take part in a book trail around Bournville Park.
