Introduction to Psychoanalytic and Jungian Ideas in a Challenging World
This introduction to Psychoanalytic and Jungian thinking is aimed at people interested in learning more, and in looking at how these ideas can be applied in the world we live in. The course provides a sound basis for those considering psychotherapy training, but is suitable for anyone curious about this way of thinking.
Saturdays - 28/01, 25/02, 25/03, 22/04, 20/05, 24/06, 15/07, 16/09, 14/10, 18/11, 9/12 2017.
The course consists of seminars exploring a range of contemporary issues through the understanding that Psychoanalytic and Jungian theory offer. Seminars are followed by a facilitated discussion, in which the ideas and issues raised can be further opened up and links made to current events.
Teachers and discussion facilitators will all be bpf psychoanalytic psychotherapists, jungian analysts, child and adolescent psychotherapists or psychoanalysts. Each student will have the support of a mentor.
