Family Story Scavenger Hunt

Brighton central

disabled access

Creative Writing fun for the whole family. There's something hidden on the streets of Brighton. Stories and poems lurk in every corner and it's your job to find them!

From your base at The Writers' Place, you'll be sent out with your secret writing mission in a sealed envelope. Break the seal and follow the instructions inside, to scavenge together the ideas and inspiration for a story or poem. Eavesdrop on people's conversations, explore hidden spaces or find a trail of strange objects that tell their own tales. Then return to base with your notes and Chief Story Scavenger – Wendy Ann Greenhalgh – will help you turn what you found into a story or poem. Please bring a notepad and pen with you on the day.

"It was too epic & I really want to come again. It was the best workshop ever." Dylan, age 9

"So much fun. Really well imagined and facilitated." Libby (and Bee, age 12)
