Structured Disasters presents Rack Screams

Returning from further concerts in London (providing the backing band for James Worse), Milton Keynes Gallery and Oxford, Structured Disasters have another event scheduled at the Bucks County Museum. On the afternoon of Saturday 22nd October, 8 performers will be playing music, painting and showing films. The afternoon goes under the title Rack Screams, a name first used when the ensemble played at the Limelight earlier this year, and is taken from the book by poet and Theatre Of Cruelty master Antonin Artaud. However, this time what is planned goes beyond being a concert. As Mark Browne explains “Rack Screams will be an experience more like an exhibition or a theatre piece. We've made this free so that it can be seen as an extension of the museum. The audience can come and go, engage with what's going on and visit the rest of the museum. There will be surprises and the event will operate with chance operations and the unpredictable”.

The afternoon should appeal to anyone wanting something a little different, with an exciting mix of Rock, Jazz and Noise sounds.

The performance starts at 2 pm and admission is free.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
