The Cambridge Brew House

Located on King's Street, The Cambridge Brew House is a great new free house pub in the heart of Cambridge. It is also home to our very own micro brewery - The Cambridge Brewing Company.

Come and enjoy our comfortable bar and dining areas on the ground floor, and in addition we have a large bar ‘The Locker Room' for private parties and selected sporting events as well as ‘The Tank Room', an oak-panelled room for private lunches and dinners upstairs.

The Cambridge Brew House is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and relax with friends while enjoying fine cask beers brewed on the premises and delicious freshly cooked food. We also have a wide variety of special events at the pub for you to enjoy each month - look at our ‘What's On' section above for more information.

Lovely food (especially the ham! ) with good music but not so loud you can't chat. Would definitely recommend.

Great service, lovely food in generous portions (rare to get generous portions in Cambridge that are actually tasty!) and also a little more friendly on the soft drinks menu for the token pregnant lady. Nice table too with nice choice in music which wasn't so loud you had to shout.

A record 7 of us rocked up at the Cambridge Brewhouse for a meet-up. They were pre-warned we were coming but I'd like to think that the attentive level of service we were lavished with would have been offered for anyone walking in off the street. From temperature adjustments to a literal doggy bag, we were treated very well. Also, we were on the cool round table in the corner and I didn't have to shout to make myself heard, which was nice.

We had a selection of beers - I have a vague recollection of 'Red Mist' being my favourite but that sounds slightly implausible now, having sobered up somewhat. We had a selection of sharing platters; the Newton-John and the Various Smoked Things, which all had nice stuff on them, including more-interesting-than-usual vegetarian options. I ate much more than my fair share of both and can vouch for the tastiness.

The company was great so I was always going to have a good time, but I did enjoy the Cambridge Brewhouse and they certainly made us welcome.
