    27-Feb-2013 Report

Visited Escot for the first time today. I have to say, having lived in the Exeter area for 9 years, I dont know how I missed this one!
Well sign posted and easy to find from A30 I found there was plenty of parking available (although bearing in mind my visit was midweek in February). Every staff member we met were pleased to help us, involve the children with the animals answering any questions raised - so very knowledgeable and informative. Nothing was any trouble for us today!

The woodland walks were lovely, and the views of the countryside are amazing. If you stick to the main pathways then you can take a buggy. There are places to sit, rest and play along the walks if you wish to.

The play barn is a soft play area for children, and a place to sit indoors and eat a packed lunch. Food is available to purchase on site also.

A day pass is pricey if there are a few of you, but the answer is simple - buy an annual pass for a little bit more and go again and again! It is value for money, after all.

A really great day out, making the most of the outdoors. Would definately recommend!
