We will be hosting a full-day event in collaboration with the ‘Edinburgh Rape and Crisis Centre', ‘LGBT Youth Scotland', ‘Shakti Women's Aid' and ‘NHS Lothian: A Sense of some Place' at Walpole Hall, Palmerston Place in Edinburgh. The event will reach out to a mixed audience including young people as well as teachers and child protection workers, as well as parents. Various interactive activities and workshops related to online sexual exploitation will engage the audience. For example, professionals and non-professionals will give a series of presentations, talks and visual media. Young people, teachers, child protection workers and parents will participate in small group discussions to explore the topic of sexual exploitation and the misuse of modern technology, and then create posters. There will be also an exhibition of art work, poetry, short stories that will be then collected and shown on the web-blog tumblr.
