The Prince's Drawing Clubs

All of the 400 children with drawings on display are students on The Prince's Drawing Clubs, a unique outreach programme providing free, serious, sustained mentoring and tuition in drawing for state-educated children aged 10-18. The Clubs were set up by HRH The Prince of Wales in 2007 and there are now 18 Clubs across London and one in Glasgow. Students are taught by artists who have graduated from The Drawing Year MA-level postgraduate programme at The Prince's Drawing School. They are invited to study at the clubs up until the age of 18, when they can use their drawing skills to open doors to careers in the arts, design, architecture, and science.
