    24-Apr-2013 Report

    Sunday 12th May 2013.

Visit this beautiful village on the Hertfordshire-Cambridgeshire border on its annual open day. Wander around 13 delightful open gardens and climb the ancient steps up our magnificent church tower with spectacular views over the countryside.
There will things to buy at the Made in Ashwell Market, things to hear at a series of mini-concerts dotted around the village and things to see everywhere: art exhibitions, a thatching display, a harp demonstration, morris dancing, honey-tastings, an archaeological dig, two model railway tracks, veteran cycles, cricket on the recreation ground and even a fun fair. Lunches and afternoon teas available.
