Ready your stomachs, Hands on History are back with their fantastic demonstration of medieval surgery and medicine! Enjoy a fun and educational talk about the life and superstitions of the medieval people before Hands on History call upon a volunteer whose leg will sadly need amputating – anaesthesia free! They'll also be a chance for visitors to learn about the medicine of the age and how the medieval people would have used it. A great chance for all the family to get an insight into the grim realities of medieval surgery in a scarily realistic way! (no real legs will be harmed during this demonstration!)
