Shakti Dance (Yoga of dance)

Shakti Dance is mindful embodiment, an opportunity to move from the inside out, and to listen to your soul. It is the conscious practice of dance infused with the wisdom of yoga. Rhythmic movements are co-ordinated with conscious breathing and awareness to create a sense of balance, harmonious movement and an embodied meditation. Created by Sara Avtar Kaur and with roots in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. It helps increase vitality; reduce stress and tension; increase flexibility and muscle tone; improve posture, balance and co-ordination; and induces a sense of inner peace, harmony and joy.
No previous experience of yoga or dance necessary.
