What a to do! One hot summer day, when 4 million wasps invade the village of Itching Down, everything changes. The picnickers panic and the farmer stops haymaking. The wasps are noisy, nasty and worst of all, they don't mind who they sting! Luckily Bap the baker has an ingenious idea and the industrious citizens of Itching Down knead and bake the biggest wasp trap ever!

Unfortunately, this show has now sold out but I wanted to leave a review in case it comes back to Polka Theatre soon. Generally speaking, I find kids' theatre fascinating as I love how kids interact with theatre and how brutally honest kids can be - even worse than some critics!
My son, who is 4 years old, is definitely one of these critics - we had a previous experience of him exclaiming out loud, in the middle of the performance, " this is boring, why are we here?"
Thankfully, he LOVED this show! I thought it would be interesting to ask him what he thought of the show and he is what my four year old son thought:
Me: "What did you like about the show?"
Son: " the bread, cutting it up, so good"
Me: "If you had to give the show stars, five for great performance and one for poor performance, what would you give it?"
Son: "oh , five mummy, definitely five for their star chart"
Me: " do you think other little boys and girls would like the show"
Son: "of course mummy, they would LOVE it mummy!"
