Pollards Hill Library

Pollards Hill

The library offers DVDs, books, large print and talking books for hire; reference books; photocopier, fax and printing facilities; public computer terminals with free access to Office software and the Internet; hall hire; information service and leaflets; a reference section, newspapers and magazines; exhibition facilities; community noticeboards; car parking and a range of events including children's activities.

The community can decision-make directly about future library events and activities by getting involved in the Pollards Hill Library Vote!

The library was redeveloped in 2009 as part of the Big Lottery's 'Community Libraries' fund. After extension and refurbishment, the library reopened with three dedicated learning rooms, new computers and a large new stock. We are currently in our third year of working towards the targets set out in the Library Community Engagement Plan.
