Cogges Manor Farm is a living landscape with over 1,000 years of history. Visitors can feed the animals, play on the adventure playground, picnic in the orchard and walk through the woods that surround the farm.
Everyone who visits Cogges for the first time is bowled over by its beauty. The Cotswold stone farm buildings grouped around the farmyard and the manor house beyond provide a tranquil setting that belies its proximity to Witney's bustling town centre.
The Norman figure-of-eight moat in the woodland beyond has been exposed revealing two distinct islands to explore. The first is the setting for an adventure play area, based around the site of the original manor house, for children of all ages to enjoy.
Follow the trail through the woods on the second island, clamber over and under the fallen trees, build a den or look out for the badgers, squirrels, deer and bats that live there.
There is a fun soft play area in one of our stunning barns, complete with a ‘mini Cogges', where young children can play whatever the weather. The entrance courtyard creates a welcoming space by the Café at Cogges to take in the beautiful surroundings.
