Romans Revisited Workshop

Our Romans Revisited lecture series explores our local Roman story and its wider significance, aiming to establish a centre of excellence in Peterborough for the interpretation of Roman heritage.
Don't miss the lecture by Paul Roberts, who curated the acclaimed Pompeii and Herculaneum exhibition at the British Museum, and who is coming to the John Clare Theatre (Peterborough Central Library) on 24 March at 7.30pm to discuss the exhibition from a curatorial viewpoint, as well how it was realised practically.
You can also enjoy talks about a Roman villa found under Peterborough allotments at Itter Crescent, Romans in literature (led by three writers of historical fiction), and much more

The workshops are suitable for complete beginners and all materials will be provided. Tea and coffee are included.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
