Beginner's Running Course


Do you want to start running? Not sure how to get started? Want to run with people of a similar standard?

The beginner's running course is a fun and supportive running group for those who are completely new to running.

On this course you will not only progress your running but you will receive advice on kit, shoes, nutrition, core strength and training methods and gain the knowledge you need to feel confident as a runner.

You do not need to be currently running to join the group but you need to able to walk briskly for about 20 minutes.

The beginner's running group meets weekly and with regular attendance you should be running for around 20 minutes at the end of the 8 weeks.

The course is run by UK Athletics Coach, fitness trainer and experienced runner, Helen Taranowski.
