Post natal support talk for mums of multiples

Come and enjoy an informative and friendly talk by Dr Zoe Poole, Clinical Psychologist, on post natal well-being especially designed for mums of multiples.

It is common to feel low and tearful for the first few weeks after you have given birth to your babies. Sometimes, if these feelings continue, it can be a sign of postnatal depression. Research by TAMBA (Twin and Multiple Birth Association) shows that one in ten or 10% of singleton mothers experience depression either during or after pregnancy; for mothers of multiples the figure is 17%.

Whether you are pregnant or if you have young babies, this support talk will help you to recognise the signs of post natal depression. If you are feeling depressed it will give you ideas for how to start feeling better.
