An enchanting Christmas story for families, Silver Moon tells the story of two very different children; a little polish girl, Helda and a rich diplomat's son, Jurgen, whose adventures together break down class barriers on the eve of Christmas.

Helda is lonely and poor, but her imagination is filled with the folk tales she learned from her grandfather. Jurgen is surrounded by beautifully wrapped presents but needs a friend to help make his everyday magical. When the two meet they embark on a journey of creation and fantasy, but as the clock strikes midnight their lives change forever…

Using live music, shadow puppetry and masked performance, Silver Moon promotes creativity through recycled objects and offers an alternative, non-commercial vision of Christmas, as well as touching on themes of friendship, difference, intergenerational relationships, and solidarity. Truly inspirational.
